What is ReadBud?

ReadBud is a site where you get to read and rate articles that interest you and get paid for doing it.

Is ReadBud a scam?

According to my research, this site is legit. They're paying via paypal and has some positive feedback from its users. Here are some payment proofs I found to atleast remove your doubt on whether or not this site is a scam.

Note: These are not my payment proofs. I'll be posting mine when I accumulate and redeem my cash from them soon. For the meantime, this will be used as reference for you guys to know that it is indeed paying.

To help you understand better about how this site works read below:

What's in it for you as a READER?

Relevant articles are delivered to you daily. Not stuffs you don't want to read. Unlike other sites, you're rewarded for your time. Reading and getting paid at the same time.

You can also enjoy additional earning revenue for referring friends or other people. You can earn atleast $5 just by referring one user that successfully redeems his/her earnings on readbud too.

So if you refer a 1000 users, you're likely to receive as much as $5000!

Logic is pretty simple:

  • You spend a lot of time on the site to read articles that interest you.
  • ReadBud gets more pageviews and increases its ranking and value.
  • ReadBud gets more advertisers.
  • ReadBud pays its members.

= More money for ReadBud and its users. It's a WIN-WIN process.

What's in it for an ADVERTISER?

Unlike other Pay to Click programs that offer your website to be visited, you're advertisement is in the form of an article. These articles are then submitted to ReadBud and is delivered to users that interest your certain topic.

So you get quality advertisement because you get targeted users.

How long will it take me to reach minimum payout?

Once you reach $50 balance, you are automatically qualified to cashout your earnings.

I already earned $1.32 on my first day and it took me less than 10 minutes to read and rate the articles.

ReadBud Earnings

So my estimate is you can earn the $50 in just about a month by reading and rating.

I know $50 is not that much but surely ain't bad if you want additional online income right?

Take note that ReadBud has an affiliate program too to help you increase your revenue. The more you refer people, the more your earnings!

I encountered this money making site only yesterday and thought it would be nice to share it with you guys.

Readbud is a SCAM. Read my experience to stay away from Readbud.com

I have been a member for two months now. Initially the articles being served were 14-18 per day, later it came down to 10-12 per day. Now it is less than 3 articles per day. These are nothing but scammer tactics to delay payments. Honest paymasters do not need a minimum of $50 to cash out. No forums on the site for users to interact, all factors point to a scam. Beware.

My experience with readbud accounts in the last two months is a complete waste of time. I have two broadband connections & two pc’s at home. Both me & my wife’s account behaved in the same manner i.e. articles being served reduced as earnings went up.

Though the second account was opened a month ago, number of articles being served for the new account was 14-16 against my month old account (averaging at 8-10 articles). Mind you the article interests were identical in both accounts. So why should one account get more articles ? In fact the earnings difference was $16 between my account and my wifes account. Now my a/c is at $37 & my wifes account is at $34.

At this rate it will take about three months (0.15cents x 90days = $13.5) to reach the payout of $50. This is assuming that readbud.com will continue to serve articles. I have my serious doubts. In any case I am not interested in wasting futhur time for a paltry 0.10 to 0.15 cents daily just to reach cashout.

The latest in scammer tactics by readbud.com is this message which is displayed when logged into my account “readbud is currently undergoing major service upgrades, hence the amount of articles you receive will be limited”
This message is now appearing for well over a week now. Over one week for Server upgradation !!!

Readbud.com must think that users are complete fools. No doubt there are instances of payments received, but I am pretty sure here on these claims will vanish too.

My take is Do NOT waste your time behind readbud.com It is a complete SCAM.

duh! u guys are greedy. didnt it say read through the article and rate properly?? i bet u guys just open the article and rate it and close and repeat it in the same way. they mean spent some time before rating. my friend and i got an average of 6-8 article per day just because we spen like 2-3 min for reading it and rating. and our article usually pay around .05-.1 cent

I have requested my first payout. Interestingly enough after I requested it and my balance dropped I am now back to have about $1.00 worth of articles a day. It says that it takes 30 days from request to be paid so we shall see what happens.

Readbud is a scam. i've been a member for almost 3 months, the articles were abudant at first. i was averaging 0.8 dollars per day. but once i reached 30 dolars, som days i only get articles worth 0.03 dollars per day

I just requested redemption of my $50 earnings from readbud 2 days ago but I dont know if it will really arrived at my paypal account. Today I saw at my balance that says "Since joining up, you have accumulated a total of $2.50". What??? how about my $50 earnings?

Maybe readbud is scam after all, and those payment proofs are fake.
