Although it's not official yet, some bloggers (including myself) did noticed a change on their website PR/Pagerank bar. April 3rd on the US and April 4th here in the philippines. I've checked all of my sites to make sure and only 2 changed in ranking and the others didn't including my PR 4 blog.

Google Pagerank Update

A PR 0 blog of mine with only 15 posts got a PR 2 and my other blog that has a PR of 2 got an N/A. Although the said update is on going from March 31st to April 31st, I'm still keeping my hopes up. I'll still be checking on the days to come.

If the update did really happened today, then this blog successfully retained its PR 2 status.

My blog were promoted one notch from PR3 to PR4.

Two factors that contribute to the PR promotion:
1. blog posting frequency with wide subject
2. blog commenting

My pagerank decreased from PR4 to PR3 :( I guess it's not easy to maintain a good high PR

@The Twitterer: Congratulations on reaching a PR3! I hope you don't forget what I said to you about site speed. Thank you for linking back too!

@Make Money Online Malaysia: Nice strategy man! I use them too. The post should also contain great quality. Even if you don't post a lot as long as it has a lot to learn from, then google will give you a high PR.

@Michael Aulia: You're not the only one who got a decrease. I re-checked my PR4 blog aswell and was very shocked that it went down to a PR3. I don't know what I did wrong.. I hope it's not the final update. You're right, it's very hard to maintain good PR specially if you have a lot of blogs. Whew!

Hi Bogcess. I got a PR2 from 0...I do hope that after April 31st, it will still remain..btw, I didn't know PRs can be decreased..thx for the info..still a newbie..lol..congrats!

@EihdraG: Congratulations for getting a PR2! It'll pretty much stay for another 3 months because google updates pagerank quarterly. Yes they can be decreased if you provide low quality content and link to spammy websites. Happy blogging!
